Summer
Soiree,
T&C’s annual fundraiser, was held on Saturday evening,
July 12, 2008, at Southern Hills Country Club. Monies raised from
this event help to “bridge the gap” between tuition and actual
costs to educate a student with learning differences.
This
festive evening included beautiful flowers, signature
martinis, hors d’oeuvres, silent auction bidding, seated dinner,
entertainment by the Tulsa Youth Symphony, and our featured
speaker, Jerry Traylor. Mr. Traylor, born with
cerebral palsy, has jogged across the country and finished dozens
of marathons. His challenge to overcome great obstacles and
excel despite a disability served as an inspiration to all who
attended Summer
Soiree.
For more information about Mr. Traylor, please visit his website
